I am very happy about finally closing the deal on my new ZX14R. I hoping to have it home by this Saturday. I went with a new 2014 black/green two tone ABS model. The wife did not like the all green 2013 and thought black was nicer so we met half way and I think it was a good choice. I am holding off on the extended warranty for now. I have M4 dual retros coming for it as a must have first mod. I would like to thank you all in the forum for sharing your knowledge in your posts that I have been reading that helped me make an educated purchase of not only the bike but an exhaust I know covers all my wants and needs at this point. I will post some pics if your interested once the bike arrives and then later with exhaust.

Well I got it home. It was a chore and because of the 34 degree temp I trailered it the 45 miles home. But once home I could not resist and tore it up for a nice 20 minute ride. My legs are still defrosting but the experience kept me warm. Wow it is just an incredible engineered motorcycle. It is just amazing. I am exhausted now and heading to bed after a long day and all night polishing my new toy. I will upload photos tomorrow. Thanks for all the warm wishes. My god what a bike. I don't know if I can even sleep.

Regarding first ride after purchase; My first impression of the bike was how smooth it was. Not to mention how easy to ride it is. I wasn't expecting those qualities from such a brutally fast bike
