Ivan's flash
07/26/15 10:43 AM

Back in June I traded my 2008 SE zx14 for a 2014 zx14r. Parts list so far: Yosh carbon/carbon dual slip-ons, Akra header, Ivan's ECU flash, PCV with Ivan's map, Ivan's block off plates. It's a beast, great throttle response in all gears with stupid top end. It revs like a liter bike. I also have a 2014 zx10r with Ivan's flash, PCV with Ivan's map, and his block off plates.

+1 Black.... If you don't have it, you don't understand..... Once you ride it, you get it. Half of the jokers out there flashing bikes claiming how great their stuff is are failing miserably by comparison. They are lucky their customers have nothing to compare it to I guess...

2015 30th Anniversary Edition 14R #250-> Brock's CT Ceramic Coated, Ivan's ECU Flash V2 & Map, Block off plates, HM Strain gauge quickshifter, GPR Damper, Spiegler lines, Muzzy's Sliders, Pazzo levers, Rizoma Next Fluid Tanks, DDM Ultra 5500K HID's Low & Hi, DB Windscreen, Cox Radiator guard, gold titanium bolts... too many to list at this point

"I'm a BIG FAN of Ivan"... and I'm up there too.
" If you don't have it, you don't understand"... No, I understand it. If "The Hand" brought up Ivan and the jetting kit and that tune back in the day, Ivan is one of oh I get it, 'one of those guys.' Stand in front of a few billionaires is that show sharktank, and Ivan has that knack for tuning. Whatever that tick in the brain [of those billionaires] that made them, not make money, but their product, their service, that kind of, oh, that kind of guy... I understand. Sorta like the tune is a given.

I was anxiously awaiting Wheelies review of the Cblast flash, unfortunately all he got was a Cbrick. It's too bad he disappeared after all the people with bricks started posting their bad experiences with him on the forums. He's been awfully quiet the last 3 weeks....

Glad you are happy with your flash-)

I'm more than happy with mine. I'm sure the truth behind that story will come out soon enough.

I'm just now getting around to reading 'the grapes of...' rolling spit as the dust flies in the air, tumbles itself into a circle of mud, or the flies buzzing at the screen door waiting to get in to hunker down on that pie on the counter, or the turtle pulls his head in, crushes the red ant with its... and then sticks his head back out and beings to read more like: why didn't I read this book long ago... now, that's my kind of story telling. What a command of those words to have you standing on that dusty road next to the characters.

'Story' and a book... does not sound good as I read thru the pages of... And Especially how you said it. Remember this story???

Compare it to this flash. Not even a drag bike. Just a stock wheelbase street bike.

Everytime i stop by to see if their is something new going on here you have maverick coming on to a thread showing a time slip like were supposed to be impressed. Does he not get it yet that we're not impressed, or IF we were every impressed it was when he first showed it a 1000 times ago. I don't know you from jack......but i bet in person you have to be annoying and obnoxious to the point of nausea. Get over yourself nobody cares that you can ride your bike very fast in a straight line for a 1/4 mile. I make over 6 figures a year, I'm a tournament skeet shooter, I'm a NRA instructor and a heck of a nice guy but you know what......i don't say that everyday and NOBODY CARES either........RANT OVER.

C'mon, now. He's just having fun... no different than me. I've got poops bigger than Mav... that why boobshyabusa (formerly our resident fecalpheliac but now the #1 pain in LP's ass) and I treasure Mav.

I'm a tournament skeet shooter, I'm a NRA instructor and a heck of a nice guy

I loves me some sporting clays AND some IDPA.

We should probably hangout.

They were looking for a way to compare the several flashes mentioned. I submitted data. I'm sure the other guys on stock wheelbase street bikes with other flashes can go just as quick. I'm a nobody from nowhere that's not even light weight so it should be quite easy for others to post similar numbers. Congrats on the good job and definitely keep up the NRA gig. I hear the gun laws in Jersey are pretty rough. Fight the good fight.

fecalpheliac... is that like autostraddle backasswords in other words?

I'm trying to stay hip to the trivia I walk up to some bike, can tell it has this and that done so I think slammed means lowered and stretched? Where is it 'pulled?'
Is that where the swingarm comes in? I thought slammed was strap the front-rear end down, add swing? Pulled [farther out] means stretched is the same thing? Thanks for the clear.

Slammed is lowering the bike. Stretched is extending the wheelbase beyond factory spec. My bike is still completely streetable. It's not so low that I can't ride to town and goof around.

I'm sorry maverick for coming off like an asshole and you being above it just proved me of being a bigger asshole. Just have seen that time slip a million times on a site that doesn't really have that many 1/4 mile guy's. Yeah jersey is horrible for gun law's......BUT it doesn't stop me from having a great collection and to constantly keep adding to it even though it pisses off the wife!! And yes Hagrid i love my shotguns and shooting them. I'm a pretty avid shotgunner infact just added two shotguns to my collection. Beretta 692 Skeet model and the Beretta Excel a semi auto for sporting clays and trap. They seem to be fitting in nicely with my other children!!!

I for one do this VERY often... When I first got into the business I was coming home with a new one almost weekly....

Ah... another Pietro disciple.

I used to whip a Browning BT99, an A391 Extrema, and an A300... but now I'm down to this:

Tilt your hade.

I still have the A300: my 15th Christmas present.

The A400 is, without a doubt, THE most forgiving shotgun of poor form/fit. It soaks up recoil in magnitudes I thought unachievable.

I can put 75 3.5", 1 9/16 oz. loads through that system in 4 hours and still be fresh as a daisy.

EDIT: small beast and boat blind are provided courtesy of Hag's pappy.

Yeah the A400 is nice....but so is my browning maxus but truthfully i love O/U wayyyy more. I used to have the browning 725 sporting but traded it towards the 692. Also picked up a Sig Sauer Super Target 1911 in stainless with wood grips.......beautiful.
