I got my baby out today. It started right up. The clunk into 1st gear felt and sounded rather sharp but that was just dry parts from sitting over winter. It was normal after I rode it. Saw quite a few deer on the short ride. The most noteworthy part of the whole evening was that when I got to the neighbors house wher my bike was stored, it was GONE! In its place was a pile of junk in the garage. I jusy looked at the lady, astonished. "they just picked it up and moved it. I'm sorry." MOVED IT! WHO WHAT? MOVE WHERE WHY? They put it in the back room of the garage. This was the back room of the garage that I decided was too small to fit the bike through the door of last fall. Well ther it was. All covered up on the stands, the chain and sprocket was all wrapped in plastic just like I had left it. There was not a single mark on it and no marks on the floor. No marks from imprper use of the stands. I let it down and rolled it out without much trouble. I guess they took some of the stuff out of the room that was there when I tried it. The guy was a motorcycle racer some time ago. i guess he knew what he was doing. I won't ever store the 14 there again. I shoulda left it in the glider hanger with the busa. No harm done but that kinda frosts my butt a little.
