Battery fine but no power?
01/03/13 2:20 PM

Ok I installed my battery tender the other day because the battery was sluggish. After it was installed with the clamps on I tried starting the bike and then I lost all power lights and all! The battery tender is still connected and showing full charge. Where do I start? What fuses would do this and where are they located? Any help would be appreciated thanks Kenny!

Main fuse. Just like when old contact breaker points opened you likely made a high-voltage spark when you connected or disconnected the tender and popped the main.

Hey Danno where is the main fuse? I do not have a manual and am unsure of where the fuses are located.

I had to look in my manual, since I have not gotten that far into this bike yet. There is a flat cover on the back of the frame under the tank. Remove the tank, remove the cover and the main fuse resides on the left side of the right frame rail on top of the starter relay and directly behind the battery.
