I'll preface this by saying that I have done an extensive search on this, other forums and Google. I want on opinion from those that have had or heard the Brocks street megaphone and short megaphone or Alien head exhaust. Is the street meg that much quieter than the shortmeg or alien head? I like all three, the HP gains are similar, I like the look of the Alien head the best. However I don't race so streetable is preferred and not being able to hear one locally I wonder just how loud the AH/shortmeg is and if the longer streetmeg is "quiet" enough to sway my decision. Thanks in advance.

Hey tacdawg' First off any of the brock systems make noise[ Beautiful noise IMO ] with this said the standard street meg is more street friendly for two reasons' its a little softer sound level and it exits farther back behind the passengers footrest.Go to brock's website and listen to the ex system's it may help..
This may not be a concern unless you ride two up but your passenger will thank you if you do!
I would not hesitate in the least to run the street meg for your app, and if you stay out of the throttle the sound wont disturb your neighbors !

Privateer, I did search all over this forum. I did find a lot of discussion about the systems. However I was unable to find a direct comparison between the two, more of an opinion on what is loud and what is not. I went on to the Busa forums as well I think I have what I need for now.

Bill, thanks for that input. I have listened to every clip I could find, I love the sound of all three. Hard to compare decibel levels online though . I'm still undecided, I like the look of the shorty systems, but that deep bark of the streetmeg is wicked. Still have some time to decide. Thanks again.
