Anyone that has the 2016 se with the carbon gray matte finish. Is it hard to keep it looking good?

Hmmm...I've got the '15 metallic matte carbon, and I think it's easier to get the bugs off than gloss. Doesn't show streaks or swirls .... I think it's easier all around. Is my '15 different from the '16 SE paint? I don't know? I'm loving it though!

It has a clear coat on it so I don't find it any harder to keep looking good on my new SE than the gloss black on my other bikes. I know some matte finishes on other bikes are hard to keep looking good.

mad - I've always felt you can't have a collection of one! I'm more than a bit obsessive/compulsive which explains my license plate on the ZX-14R: "MAX OCD"...

I can relate...OCD myself...machinist/perfectionist! If I could afford it, it's hard telling how many bikes I'd have! I believe Kruz is of the same ilk, collection wise, lol.
(Except he's exclusively sport/supersport)

Does matte show less dirt than gloss? What about matte vs a typical gloss like red or blue?

"I use Maguires Quick Wax wipe n shine."

So we can use standard wash and wax products? I know with the Hyundai Veloster matte paint, you cannot. I just got back from a 6,100 mile ride to Calif and back to Minn and have a couple "stains" on the front fairing.

Thanks,
ominousone
