I'm goin to the track this weekend.. Haven't decided if i want to go friday or saturday.. But ya'll should go too. Terrorize noble with 14s!

eh... before you ask.. Yes i'm trailering my bike down there.. Too hot to ride down in leathers, plus the drag seat isn't as comfy as the stock one. LOL

And of course I have to work both Friday and Saturday night's. CRAP!!

Stopped in the House yesterday to pick up some brake pads. Ryan waited on me. Showed me a picture of a Monster 14 they built for somebody. Looks really good stretched with the catalyst seat. Anyway he told me it's running in the high 7's. I asked on the motor? He said yes. Slow have you seen this bike? Is it really doing high 7's on the motor? I'm having a hard time believing this.

Thats the HOK zx14, its ridden by a guy that I pit with. Its an index bike, nothing more. It has ran a 9.0 or so in really good air, but its set up to run 9.50s on the nose.

Not hard to believe, it was built with basically an open checkbook LOL. Best of everything went on there.

Unless its another bike from somewhere else, that i don't know about. But as far as i know, there are NO naturally aspirated zx14s running in the 7s. None, zip zilch nada. It would have to be a 1600+ cc motor (which i don't believe is possible in our blocks, due to clearance issues on the stroke and cylinder thickness issues on the bore.) It would also have to be 74"+ inch wheelbase with a slick and slider clutch. So... Unless it looked like that, nah it wasn't running 7's on motor LOL

Lol!! That's what I thought. Don't want to call the Ryan out, but maybe he meant to tell me it runs 7's in the 1/8th. If Ricky Gadson was riding it. I'm sure it's the same bike. Had "HOK1" on it. The picture looked damn good. Would like to see it in person.

crap i forgot about that race. LOL

Did ok.. track sucked early, then came around. Still need to re-gear the bike but i ran out of time and parts LOL. Still shiftin into 6th before the traps.

Once the track came around, had 2 passes in the 9.teens and 4 passes in the 9.0s. Its close.. But the gas thats in there has been there for about 3 weeks, so its likely dead.. And like i said i need to regear it. SHOULD be in the 8s soon haha.

6th gear is when you have a 1/4 mile in front of you, then hammer it. You better re-gear on the, Rot INN Race.
