Coworker sawed 3 finger ends. EMT gave up and was back in the vehicle. I didn't know what was going on when I went out there........so went to lookin.........found it and washed it........delivered it to EMT. Hoping they can save that one.

I try to never forget that many machines need to be respected like guns..........they are unforgiving.

Machines have no conscience. I got a finger tip sewed back on a couple of years ago, still numb and got a goofy looking finger nail. The end of one finger sucked I can't imagine three fingers.

Just a reminder to all...DO NOT EVER EVER EVER EVER clean the chain with the bike running in gear on a rear stand. Lots of fingers have been lost that way. Seems stupid but some people chance it DOn't do it.

I rolled my finger into the sprocket last week. OUCH! fortunately it was just a slow roll by hand. I caught the wheel with my free hand and stopped it. Left a tooth mark in the other knuckle. Good example of how it might have gone under engine power.

ug- No such thing as a close call on that one. You either know NOT to do it or you learn the hard way.

Google the topic and just see how many people have horrible injuries worse that this. This guy actually looks liek he got off without getting anything cut off. Lucky.

I lube on the stand, but turn it by hand.......1352cc has enough torqe at idle to do wonders.
