New fairing kit
08/08/18 10:57 AM

Quick post to report my experience with aftermarket eBay fairings. After low siding the 14 a couple of years ago I have not been really happy with the appearance of my bike. I did all the repair and painting myself and I have zero education on paint and bodywork. The lack of education and experience really showed at the end lol. So I recently jumped on a set of eBay fairings that were one color, already painted ready to ship from the USA. The cost was $319 usd. For that price I decided it was worth the risk.

I’m very happy with the results. Fit and finish is great probably 8.5/10. The only real issue was the trim fairing under the nose.

The two don’t quite line up, I will be attempting some wiggling, but this is the only real issue.
I now have lots of spare body work and two fuel tanks sitting around if anybody needs parts let me know.

Looks great! I wouldn't trust them at high speed though.

That upper inner fairing has always been tough for me to get in with OEM fairings.

Rims look great too! Ride with them a while and check often for cracking, that's all. I've heard mixed stories about aftermarket fairings. The bad stories are pretty scary.

Looks fantastic......nothing two holes on each side and a black ziptie wont hold.....anybody who sees it is laying on the ground in front of your bike....just run them over. No more witness.

Joel.
