I picked up a little Panterra 90 cc mini bike on the weekend at a garage sale a few blocks from my house. It was dirty as hell, 2 flat tires, didn't start, but had no damage or missing parts. Brought it home to show my girls and they were super excited. We washed it up nice, drained the old gas, ran some new gas and sea foam through it, a quick carb tune, adjusted and waxed the chain, filled the tires up, changed the oil (it was as full as phsically possible??) and it runs like new! I don't think he owned a tool box or even oiled the chain but in 30 minutes we had a nice little bike. The best part, $90 including a new Fuel helmet!
It's a clone engine of my CT70 so I had a bit of an advantage in getting it back running. Girlied it up a bit with some Roxy and DC decals and they both had a chance riding around the block. They're naturals, riding solo and shifting gears after a couple laps. Good times!
