Well, I met fellow forum member Raceshark for a 300 mile ride with the local GroupRides gang. He and his wife have a VERY clean 06, black and gorgeous. He got a pair of carbon slipons off E-bay for a ridiculous price and the bike looks great. Had a perfect day, sunny, green hills, flowers, pollen, bugs etc. For those who know the area, Highway 25 is real nice. Flowing twisties through the trees and some mega long straights. We all behaved though, mostly.Unfortunately, Racesahrk had to leave after the lunch stop so didn't get to do Carmel Valley road, but I'll be showing him around all my favorite twisty bits this summer. Overall, a great day. Cheers.
