Just installed the Apex Risers today. Bought the 4" risers. And they made quite a differance.

That should relieve a lot of pressure off the wrists and looks real comfortable ...

With the bars all the way back and up, and at max turn, I lost maybe 1/4 inch before I hit either fairing or tank. Which isn't very much but the ride is, in my opinion, much more comfortable and really could'nt feel any differance as far as handling. Going to play with this setup, and may change up, go alittle lower and farther forward.

The only lines I had to replace were the brake lines. Went with Core Moto +4 inches longer. Throttle lines just rotate 180 deg. everything else will reach, just may need to re-route. Going to machine some better brackets for the master cylinders, had to modify the stock brackets so I could take her for a ride. Now I can ride all day without any problems.

Interesting, thought you would have to change brake and clutch both. I can see getting away with just rotating throttle housing. Look at Woodcraft, they have some sharp looking brackets that clamp on the bars could be used to mount just about anything.

I unclamped the clutch line from the bracket that held it in place between the trees, that gave me the slack needed. As far as tucking, being 5'5" won't take much effort. Going to order the Zero Gravity sport touring windscreen. I know this is not for everyone, but I do not track this bike, and do usually take longer rides with friends.

I just took off the 1 in Genmar riesrs and lowered the fork clamp 0.50 in to help the turn-in ... as soon as I finish toasting this stock rear tire a new set of PP 2CTs go on with the 190/55 rear. I'm just going in the other direction from you but your setup looks good!

I know this is an older thread but I need some help with the brake lines. I'm not able to look at my bike 2017 model because I'm in CA and the bike is in MD. I would like to order the brake lines I need to install the Apex 4 inch bar kit. Eray posted that he upgraded his brake line to +4 inches. I understand the length but not the plural brake lines because it's just the front brake line that has to be changed right? Please help

stormdog,
Try giving these guys a call, they manufacture the lines themselves and do custom orders. I've ordered a custom longer clutch line for my 08 and it came out perfectly and exactly as I ordered it. Being able to see the bike to trace the lines and see how the lines connect together is a massive help but maybe if they already have the measurements and fittings on their product catalogue they can just make you that same line but longer.
