I picked these up this week. I have to say. they may not be the best out there for performance im sure, but over all quality is on par with all the other guys out there. they sound nice and deep. no raspiness to them either.

Cooter, I agree. I even like the look of the older, chrome zx14 stock exhaust. Im up in the air between these and the yoshi r-77 stainless slipons, for next year. how much are the delkavic's? and do they have a slightly shorter muffler length?

I think Delkevic slip-ons can be had in 3 different lengths.

I've been looking at that brand for a while now. They're so cheap compared to other systems, and they have several models to choose from. But I just have no idea whether they're any good or not. Heck, honestly I'm not even worried about maxing performance, mostly just quality and how good they look/sound.

Can you post some video of them to see what they sound like?

I will have a video posted by the end of sunday. As far as the quality. The welds are spot on. And trust me on that. I was a pipefitter/ welder.

Hi
Just wondering if you got in contact with Delkevic first to check on fitment to a 2012 model ZX14. I'm interested in the Tri-oval carbon 17" slip ons. Hoping they fit will fit a 2012 as well. BTW they look great. Any difference in the bike in regards to acceleration. I'm like you, not really after any performance gain (not that the bke needs it). Hoping it doesn't upset that silky smooth acceleration. Just after a better sounding note and losing a bit of weight. Also what sought of weight difference is their between the stock and Delkevic units?
Cheers

Yes, I did call Delkevic. they were not sure if it would fit. I came accross a conversation here about someone else who fitted a 2011 slip on and had a just a few mods to do. I took a chance and had no issues at all. i am very happy with the sound and the bike runs a little cooler too.
