fork and rear shock springs
03/16/09 3:50 AM

Hello everyone, I have been trying to find if anyone manufactures replacement springs for my 08, the problem I am having is that at six foot seven inches and weight of 270 pounds, with out my gear. When I have my wife on the bike it is over loaded. I don't feel it's necessary to buy a very expensive set of shocks and springs when the stock work great othere than the springs seem a little on the light side. Any help on this subject would be appreciated. Thanks

Thanks HUB, yeah when I do run two up, I can feel the squat. When I'm on my own I have every thing set up pretty good. I mean I'm way to big to do any racing but I do get out in the twisties a bit with my buddy's, They all ride R1's and CBR's and GSXR'S and the smaller NINJA's. and I can hang in their with em. leave em on the straight's. he-he. My wife only rides once in a while and no long trips yet, she's new to the whole riding thing, hasn't got her riding skin yet.
I will keep watching for more info. Thank's agaian.

I am 210 lbs. I cranked the preload on the front the whole way in. With my soon to be ex wife of 130 lbs. the bike handled very well. Have you cranked the preload at all at each end?
