A very cheap mod but one I think looks good. Changed the amber TS bulbs for chromed amber ones. The back was very easy. The front was a PITA but I had to take it apart anyway to try lining things up better.

I tend to lack the fashion sense. Stock exhausts work well for me (quiet, linear, plenty awesome power as I race myself, and my own bravery - (don't need anyone else in the mix to push me past my personal already freaky limits). Plus stock offers the hands-down best horsepower/quiet/$/no hassle ratio. However, my rear fender is causing problems. My Pit Bull motorcycle rear stand (perfect for the sadly traded CBR954RR) is obstructed by my rear fender. I don't ride much in the wet on my ZX-14r (ST-1300 is my long distance steed) much so I guess I don't need the fender. What's the best, cheapest way to get rid of it? I like my Pit Bull rear stand and want to use it.

I had the same problem with the Pit Bull stand made for this bike and hitting the rear fender. Put the Muzzy Fender Eliminator on and all is well. It's nice, clean and integrates the license plate light.
I also went chome amber bulbs in front turn signals and city lights. Went chrome red in back. Most of the chrome alternatives aren't as bright as the amber/clear stockers but have the look I like. Also rewired all the turn signals to running lights. Put a Signal Dynamics Back-Off module for the rear brake light with integrated clear LED license plate bracket.
Not stock anymore...right.
