Euro 4 models

Were there ever any conclusions made about 2016+ models? Looks like the same flash is available but I want to keep the stock exhaust and wondering if they added more crap to the exhaust to make run hotter and less compliant than the 2012's

Research wise, part number changes show upgrades, meaning, internal pipe configurations might be in play. '012 shows same price for either side. '016 shows "oversized" for the right muffler, with a $166.00 difference between muffler sides. Short of the paint's textured finish to the muffler during different gen years, internal wise, it still has to meet a certain epa number on the way out of the muffler. That heat of the cat is why it has to remain hot; to burn the spent gas and keep it sort of lit to revert back to a cleaner exit out the muffler.

Flash wise the 02 might be disabled. Probably why it's the same flash between years. US wise the 02 was introduced in 2016. You might have to head to a muffler shop, buy an 18mm plug and remove the 02 to save it from being carbon'd up and rendered useless.

Every Euro 4 bike I've ridden has had poor on-off throttle transitions and constant throttle issues. Varying from not too bad on an FJR1300 to inexcusable on a GSXS1000. Were there any reported problems on ZX14's?

There is a big difference, I could feel it straight away. The throttle feeling is different, my 2014 was much more responsive. However the 2018 seems to feel like it has more grunt. You can disable the O2 sensor, open flies earlier, adjust timing maps but not turn off the traction control in the Woolich flash. At least that was last year when I had the flash done.
