Hey Gang,
I have been trolling this site for some time now. Thought i had better put something about me up now that i have made a couple of posts. My name is Darren. I have been called dags by my old mates for a long time now.
I live in South Australia, Adelaide (not far from Bean) I have been riding for 9 years now. I have only owned two other bikes. A Honda VTR 250 and a Honda VTR 1000 Firestorm. Originally i was looking at the 2011 ZX-14 last year, until i saw the 2012 ZX. I held off and finally bought the 2012 ZX-14R when it was available. It was a little wait for me as i was wanting the big Green Machine.

This is my first inline 4 motorbike, so i am getting used to having to keep the rev's up a bit more than the V Twin. Not that there is a need with this brute of an engine.
My thoughts so far on the ZX-14R.... I love it
I have taken the huge bazooka exhausts off and replaced them with the Two Brothers V.A.L.E. Black Series.
They sound very nice, and not as loud as my V Twin.
Picture taken today before its first service. ( I really need to clean the rims :) )

Thanks guys,
Hey Bean, have a chat to Nick at SA Motorcycles. I originally ordered the Titanium Exhausts but something happened with the order and 6 weeks later was told they couldn't get them.(Someone stuffed up i guess) So was offered the Carbon @ $1100 a lot cheaper than the original quote for the titanium's. They sound great, not too loud and a lot lighter than the stock exhausts.
It's only a 1/2 hour job to swap them over.
Was planning on holding onto the Bazooka's for now. Never know when i may need to swap them back ;)
Cheers,
Dags
