Yoshimura USA
05/04/12 10:43 AM

Well after sending email after email to Yoshimura, and finally being told the mid pipes for the R77's were available, it seems they are NOT!
Just got off the phone to them, and now they tell me that I can't purchase these directly from them!
Delaying tactic or maybe just an A*#@hole company? seems customer service is a thing of the past. I will be taking this further with the parent company, but don't expect to get anywhere.

Rant over.

Be careful ordering from them!

Don't let them get you fired up. Just take your business to another company.

The problem is I already have the mufflers, otherwise I would have jumped ship from these guys long ago.
Tell you what this will be the last time I buy from Yoshi, their customer service sucks!!

I have had several sets of pipes from Yoshimura, in fact just bought some slip ons for my 14R. It is top shell quality, and never had a problem.

You just have to ask Yoshimura for something they can actually do. LOL.

Or conversely, be nicer to them on the phone, that will get you a lot more honey.

Pops Yoshimura sold me a tuned pipe for my H2 back in the day, and it was a work of art. He charged me over $400 in 1974 dollars.

He was tuning winning race bikes before a lot of you were born.

I bought the R77 slip ons. Very nice quality. Deeper tone without being loud and has sound reducing inserts, but it is fine without. I have had several Yoshi's and always been happy with them. Not looking to win any land speed records, but couldn't get used to the big stock cannons.

I had awesome dealings with yosh years ago...maybe things have changed since then? I got a header that wouldn't fit properly for my busa, they sent me a prepaid shipping label, shipped it back and within days a brand new header was on my porch, no shipping costs to me whatsoever. And I bought the system on a screaming clearance sale from somebody else, but they still treated me like gold
