So the gas pumps in the Miller paddock area had some REAL high octane gas -- 110 octane. It was about $8.50/gallon.
Can this be run in a ZX-14 without any tuning changes? Might be fun to try it sometime if it wouldn't hurt the motor... -bg

your bike will run much slower at the drag strip if its stock, you dont have the c/r...the bike would need more timing and much more c/r...bottom line for 8.50 buy yourself a nice 6 pack of your favorite imported brand of beer.
even in my turbo busa running 10psi with stock c/r i would only add at most a half a gallon to three full gallons in the tank and that was only on the hottest days 95+ at the drag strip..otherwise 93 worked fine..

It is my understanding that you will make the most horsepower with the lowest octane fuel you can gete away with running without detonation,, so if its a stock motor you probably would see very little advantage, although you might go faster because your wallet is much lighter.

stock bike, run 87 or 89 octane. period.
I run 116 in mine heh heh heh
