Hi from the UK
12/23/17 2:35 AM

Been browsing this forum for quite a while, so decided it was time to sign up and say hello!

On my third ZZR/ZX as you would know them, and still loving the bike.

Been following Rook’s “how too” threads with interest as I do quite similar stuff over nere on the UK forums.

Also picked up a 2015 H2 earlier this year to keep the 1400 company, but that’s for another day....

Steve.

Sorry, Christmas got in the way!

The H2 had 47 miles on it when I picked it up from the showroom.
Guess the previous owner didn’t ride it much.

Gen 2 ZX14r used mainly for going to Europe on tours...

Got 9k miles on it as I normally have 3 bikes on the go!

Great bikes. The H2 owner probably bought it thinking it would become an instant collectable and grow in value immediately. After he realized it would at last go though a normal depreciation cycle probably gave up. I suppose maybe in 30 years with 47 miles on it might be worth what it was worth new taking into account inflation.

I say ride and enjoy it. Most of us probably won't even be around in 30 years!

He was a diver up in the North Sea. Work dried up, toys have to go I guess?!

Up to 800 miles now, but winter has seen it resigned to the garage.

In the UK, they spread tonnes of rock salt everyhere at this time of year. It destroys motorbikes!

Same here in the north. I never ride until we have a good rain in spring.

Do you know if your H2 was recalled for the frame issue they had? (rusting internaly).

If not you might look into it.
