I'm thinking he should go with the Gen II Busa. He seems to be drawn to that bike more than any other and probably would not be happy with a ZX-10. Just my thoughts.

This posting of topics on by others on my behalf seems to work for me. Tell you all the truth, The busa/ZX-10 decision is not so hard to make. I've already thought that out and I know I'd be making the right choice no matter which way i went.

I'd pick between the 14 and the busa to turbo some day and never worry about G3s, G4s or G5s again.

You have to much lazy money if you want a Busa AND a ZX14...they are so similar apart from looks...

If I was rich and had the choice of this topic - of would OBVIOUSLY get a ZX10R or Blade or the new R1, and use the litre bike as a track day weapon . Then spend your money on doing track days and even some racing.

I can't believe anyone would want to own a Busa and a '14...

Good point but the 14 was a new bike not so long ago and I'd take it at least one lap now. If I found track riding was too risky for a new bike, believe me, I would find it much too risky for my body...and I'm old...but in good condition!

I've seen amiture racers taking corners on a track and it is a joke compared to pros. Might be a whole lot more serious from the riders viewpoint though.

You might be right though, I probably won't be ready to take anything on a track for a while. I might just piss everyone off. I bet that happens. I guess that's why we have track training courses.
