Ah!! I found out had same thing when considering a Diavel. Termi exhaust is 3K plus, then ECU for it. First required Dealer check over is $250, as I understand it.
After the new wore off you'd question having that kinda money wrapped up in one bike.

They are claiming some impressive numbers with the new 1299 Ducati. That apparently has enough torque to pull your teeth out!
I guess it's a new, bigger class of track bike. Seems more like a track bike than a drag/sport touring machine like the Busa and 14

"I would imagine it will easily outdrag a 14 if the front end could be kept down"
Blasphemy!!!!
Maybe so. But I hope not. Lol Yes, that big of a v twin must leap off the line like a lion
Also Must have quite an impressive power to weight ratio
A 1300 cc track bike is what I see is as, though. A "great for drag racing" track bike. Lol

If Ducati is still using a dry clutch pack you wont be able to launch it smoothly anwyays.
Duc clutches were dry long before you wet your first diaper.
Oh no, not again!

C how did you pick up the extra 14 hp?pipe?flash?looking forward to a back to run on a stock 14r and h2,you could save me a lot of money
That sheet was the R1M sheet. We picked up the horsepower by uncorking the stock ecu and making some adjustments and removing restrictions. Thats still STOCK EXHAUST on the R1M.

The Panigali is wet clutch. The 1198SP I had was dry slipper clutch and hard launching was accompanied by a loud screeching noise which I was told by the dealer was normal!
OK, that would get old fast!

OK, thanks for posting, the stock numbers are almost dead on what I had predicted a few months back, high 160s to low 170s, that's plenty!
