Fuel pump went out in my 07 Zx14. I see those ones on eBay and just wonder if they are even worth messing with. Just wonder if they’re just Chinese crap. Anyone ever tried one of these or recommend where I can get a good pump. Not wanting to buy the whole assembly, just the pump.

Check out the Concours website. They use your motor. 12 yrs on the original fuel pump? How many miles?

"Just Cliff" has 200,000+miles on his 08 C14, still original fuel pump.
The fuel pump assembly (plastic housing) has an internal paper filter. See if you can disassemble and check it.

The bike has 43k on it. I was wondering if the screen might be clogged so I also checked the volume of fuel that came out with a hose attached to the fitting. Volume seemed to be good. But one thing I did notice while checking the pressure, I noticed the pressure would drop when the pump turned off. Didn’t have any leaks on my connections. Maybe an internal leak? Don’t think the pressure is supposed to drop off like that.
