This is my last night in Indiana! Yesterday when the movers were loading the truck the wind was blowing hard, it was cold and SNOWING!!! Indiana was trying to get it's last dig on me before I move south, going to be nice not to own a snow blower! Moving to BIG D, warm weather and wide open spaces!!! Looking forward to having a LOT more riding days and new places to explore. Will be living in Desoto, seems to be a pretty nice area, several lakes close by. If I can work out my schedule I plan on going to the Houston Mile this year. If you live around Desoto and see me out be sure and wave, looking forward to some new friends to ride with.

I have to say I met a lot of good people in Indiana and will miss them, just won't miss the cold and snow.

I was born in Hammond Indiana, and also lived in and around Dallas for 18 yrs. Got tired of the traffic so I moved to southern Louisiana. Not to discurage you but I just got old I guess. There are still lots of nice coutry back road all around that I know you will enjoy. Wish you the best on your move.

Hopefully where you're moving you'll have some roads not based on farm field grids. I've already got 1800+ miles this year. I can deal with the cold when I need to. But the roads...man the roads.

I know exactly how you feel, I'm up in northwestern Iowa. Shitty weather and even shittier roads. Not a single nice/curvey road to be had.

I might be moving to Huntsville Alabama by next fall with a work transfer. No idea what it's like down there tho.

Indiana wants me lord I can't go back there.a bad song from the 70's

Dallas/Ft.Worth seen plenty of snow this winter,but I'm sure it's better than where you're moving from.
