You did replace them with the OEM, right? We both timed in the same mileage change. Mine were looking bad. I'm more looking at this as a performance angle. If that spark is that nasty on an iridium, it's going to send that cheap set down the tubes in about 7K and she runs like an iridium 20k.

I changed with NGK iridium it was easier than I thought with the frame being in the way and all.

Yeah, it is a pain but not prohibitively thankfully. I did mine around 13K, not to say they needed it just the figured while I was doing the valves and was in there... Glad it went well for ya Cooty.

I knew they needed changed because of the random misfire at idle and below 3k rpm after the change smooth as butter.
