Thanks Hanks....I already returned the sprocket but if I go this route again in the future I will definitely give him a ring.

Don Guhl is the only guy I know of that addressed this particular issue.
I'm normally an Ivan Zombie..:).. but I don't believe he has a cure.

I'm back again after running 2 sprocket setups...17/41 and 16/43...with neither of them exhibiting the stutter issue I had when I installed the 43T rear sprocket with stock front. I must say that the 16/43 setup isn't as bad as I thought, with the wheelies being manageable just by throttle control in the lower gears. I thought the 43T setup was a monster but oh boy, with the 43t combined with the 16T front sprocket, there's no comparison.
