Does anyone know of a Fault code reader that works on a Gen 2 2012 ZX14R ?
I know there are some available for the 2016 ? I think and later models, but there is something different about the earlier models regarding reading the codes?
Maybe Kawasaki Locked them up for some reason . . . Does anyone Know?

Call it Gen1.0 for a set of codes in open loop - no 02, minus ABS... 2006 to 2015. I'm ignoring the cc increase to show a minimum of extra codes. Thus showing this across the board as all use the same codes between gen-jumps.

Call the R as Gen2.0 but ran open loop till this was phased out in 2015. Next gen2.1 is where closed loop [02] and ABS became standard equipment.

Therefore, the extra telemetry, the code reader available for the 2016 and up gens. That's my best guess.
