Finished up the Rostra electronic cruise control install on my Connie, and ran diagnostics, which is passed.
Installed two water-resistant powerlet sockets on my right top cover (ram air tube cover). Put connectors on the socket wires and the wires coming from the Dispatch 1 electronic fuse system, so it can be disconnected and the top cover removed from the bike.
Ready to make connection to battery for the Dispatch 1, but holding off for some extra battery ring terminals and such to arrive, so I can connect the 12 gauge red and black wires that are going to the front to run the Stebel at a full 20A, and to the back for the passenger's control pod with two powerlet sockets and Kustom Komfort controls, plus a 3rd Kustom Komfort control for the passenger's heated seat.
I won't be fabricating the control pod (have box, pcb boards, Kustom Komfort internals, copper sheet for heat sinks, and relays ready to go) until later on during a lull in riding season, so just running the 12 gauge wires back to where they need to be for when I do.
Learned that soldering butt connections of 12 gauge wire to 12 gauge wire or to terminals is not something you can do with a standard industrial grade soldering gun. So I'm getting a 1,000 degree gun, that will heat things up enough to draw the solder in and make a good joint.
