Ok, didn't realize the significance of the ending digits before now. My new blue 2012 is #253 and one of the first bikes delivered here in N. Il. to the best of my knolwedge.
Old blue('07)was a dealer hold over when I bought it in '08 and #18thousand 8oo something 
We are looking at near 50 degrees next week and sunny here in the north part of the state!!! We have had a lovely (no major wx events) winter so far and I'm loving that; but it is hard not to get the R out of storage early. La Nina is taking credit for this mild weather across the 48.
March 1st is the planned go date as usual, but...................damn! That weather is going to be hard to take; maybe all the salt and gravel on the roads around here will ameliorate the funk!

I am way down the list from you guys. My ID number is up in the four digit zone. I'm at 2906. I guess they're selling them. I've been waiting for mine since Thanksgiving. My dealer didn't request shipping of the only one that he ordered until May. He was able to request a earlier delivery but they've been out at the warehouse.
No matter... it's here now!! I pick it up either tomorrow or Thursday.
