Cooling Turbo 14???
08/25/13 12:09 PM

I have an 07 turbo 14 and am looking for a way to cool it so I can crank up the HP without detonating the motor. It is built bullet proof with the best of everything (custom made turbo pistons with 2mm thicker heads, custom built rods 2mm shorter, etc.). I am looking for a way to cool it via custom intercooler, injection, etc.. I want this bike built to last and am willing to spend the money to build it right. Any suggestions, referrals etc. would be greatly appreciated. johnbritton76@gmail.com. I am currently making 272 rwhp on pump gas but ready for more.

I was kinda hoping this would be about engine temps. Its almost 100 here now with a ton of humidity, so ive been looking into doing a flush and refill with engine ice, and adding a 2nd fan. Im still fine on the highway, but in stop and go traffic the temps are getting kinda high, not overheating or anything, but one notch away from the top, when sitting stopped. It didnt get this high last week when it was in the 80s, lol.

Id have to ask Jerry about doing that for me, I dont touch that stuff. I figure a 2nd fan, and different coolant is something that would help I could do myself without having to bother him. lol

I was also thinking about maybe having the header and turbo ceramic coated as well.

Yes my new one will be done that way. I hate the rust that appears on the hot side,,,grrrrrr

How I have flashed my ECU is 4 degrees advance in the bottom and I pull 5 degrees on boost. I can flash yours any way you want let me know.
