I've owned about 6-7 bikes over my life so far. My last 2 were a 2010 ZX10 and a 2013 Z1000. Just picked up a 2012 ZX14 that i love so far! Put on a slip on Two brothers exhaust, HID lights, and some other small features. Going to put on a PCV here soon. Any advice on Gen 2 ZX14's is appreciated!

Sorry no expertise on the Gen2 here but they're all great machines! As you are probably aware, most do a flash along with a PC5 these days so that's a good investment.

Any suggestions on where to go for my flash? I have never done one of those on any bike I've owned. I have installed the PCV's before and mapped them or had them mapped and dyno/ Just never had the PC flashed lol Kinda feel like a noob not really knowing that.

I think you will have a tough time finding a map these days. People are not trading them around like they did years back. There are the Dyno Jet maps but they are quite conservative, I'm told.

2WheelDynoWorks gets much praise around here.

Don Guhl Motors also is well recognized and I think you will also have heard the name Ivan over the years.

One of our best kept secrets around here is a guy named ROMANS. He's back after a couple year hiatus playing with cars. You might PM Romans and I'm sure he could set you up with a great Gen2 flash.

I have yet go with a flash. With all the electronics I have, I do not know that I would benefit on my Gen1. I will go with Romans if I do get a flash. Tuned on the road with real world engine load, not on a dyno with a leaf blower.

I think Romans himself would tell you to get your flash from any REPUTABLE and well recognized tuner. If it's a good and safe flash, it's not much different than the next. They all know the numbers to plug in. I have been told that Guhl is the only one who can actually see the OEM ignition timing map and presumably make the most exact adjustments (for all that is worth).
