Is this one of those "too good to be true" items

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/KAWASAKI-06-07-ZX-14R-FAIRING-ZX14R-ZX14-BODYWORK-RARE_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZ72Q3a1171Q7c66Q3a2Q7c65Q3a12Q7c39Q3a1Q7c240Q3a1318Q7c301Q3a0Q7c293Q3a1Q7c294Q3a50QQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZitem45ebcbb22bQQitemZ300308738603QQptZMotorcyclesQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

I need to replace my left "big" fairing after a little incident I had last summer. The OEM replacement fairing plus flame decals is running ~$500 online but I found this on ebay. Granted it's not a direct replacement for what I currently have but it includes every fairing for the entire bike. And it's for less than $500. Granted it's shipping from China and was probably made for pennies on the dollar but it caught my eye. My instinct tells me it's too good to be true and there will probably be quality issues (fitment, material, etc..) What's ya'lls thoughts on this?

Oh, and if everything happened to be on the up and up... Is there any difference with fairings between the 06-07 and 08-09?

Thanks,
Chris

There appears to be a discussion on this very same thing in this forum you may find interesting:

Neither the fitment nor the quality is great,
but I've seen these fairings on bikes and they
look good IMHO.

I would be intereted in buying some of your
black and red fairings if you decide to part
with them and get a new set.

They banned me from that site or I'd be slamming all those different bike sites is like a land mind there. I would agree you could not out and out match part for part is that cop pee write on the ragged edge of that check book is a shitty fit.

But to match the shrink or expansion meaning, "Needs a pro to install is my cup of tea. I'd be on the line down the eyeball is like a car hood fit from all 4 sides is line the puppy yup; you'd be there for awhile if not throw the pieces at the gayrage wall.

It may look hot, but what a patient person you will have to be to snuggle up to the fit. You can make anything fit is trust me. I don't fit inn.

ShimCityShitizz not looking that bad for a knock cough-cough.

Thanks for the input guys... After putting more thought into it I realized I would have to paint the frame, tank, swingarm, etc... and in the end it would be cheaper to just buy an OEM fairing and decals. Plus I really don't want to mess with a questionable product and deal with fitment issues. As Hub said, I would probably be throwing the things against the gayrage wall.

Oh well, they look really cool if nothing else.

Thanks again.
Chris
