I have 2014 14r with 23k on the dash. I have a issue where I lose fluid in my clutch reservoir throughout a ride. I do not see any fluid leaking from the bike and can’t figure out what’s wrong? Any suggestions?

Could be the reservoir cap, maybe. It should be on there tight. I've had mine leak but the only way I knew it was that I felt little tingles of moisture hit my arm when I was riding. Then I saw the telltale corrosion spots on my plastic ram air cover and meter unit. I don't think I noticed the level drop much from that but it's worth a check.

This may not apply...but how about lever feel?Is the fluid at the midpoint at the ride start?Maybe trapped air in there, but probably not if the lever feels okay.Or a fitting(seal) is pulling air into the line and it's migrating to the res.If you loosen the slave outer housing, does fluid come out of there at the bottom?

1. Slave:
a. Finger just under and inside of sprocket cover. Where the slave is, 6 o'clock is where the finger is to swipe liquid walking down from the slave.
b. Pull slave off the sprocket cover. This is where the leak from the piston can be seen rather than finger swipe.
c. Follow clutch hose and look for any weep at connectors. A split or a leak is going to push out each time you pull the lever so it's more looking at a sweat that takes a lot of pressure to move the liquid out. Dust would be more covering the slow leak.
2. Clutch:
a. If the clutch plates wear, this moves the pressure plate deeper into the outer clutch basket. This will move the pushrod towards the slave and raise the fluid level. Just saying.

Check under your Bike on the left exhaust mid pipe for an oily residue. My 2012 leaked right after the warranty expired. The Slave cylinder had scoring inside the bore. A factory defect-maybe. I installed a new one and it has never leaked.

As a head's up.replace that washer in there on the slave unit/engine interface.Be ESPECIALLY careful of tightening it down too much.It will crack very easily. You may not see it.Just go easy with it.It may already be cracked.
If I recall correctly, that washer/spacer has a particular way of facing when installed.Be sure you put it in correctly.
"I lose fluid in my clutch reservoir throughout a ride. I do not see any fluid leaking from the bike"...okay...so how many miles of a ride are we talking here? And unless it's really leaking at the slave, just sitting and not being used may not show much leakage under the slave. The blowby wind of riding could easily disperse drops at a time from the slave, and appear to not have much underneath on the frame.Check out the aft area of the slave under there, around the engine casing. It would probably blow upwards onto the inner case areas.(meaning it might not look like it's coming from the slave at all).
If the rubber in the master is deteriorating, you could get a blocked return hole in there. That could affect the reservoir visual level.Any black deposits in the res bottom?
You also say..'lose fluid during a ride'.So are you refilling the res each time?Confirming it's actually disappearing?Or does it return to level once the bike sits for a while.
