Looking for opinion please on a 1441,s ability to put out enuf electrical juice for 2 sets of heated jacket liners & gloves ?
We’re about to head into Autumn here.
I’m still using the bikes original heavy battery
But, I’ve also bought a much lighter weight Lipo alternative that’s not yet installed due to my imminent week trip away to Tasmania & not wanting to put anything at risk.
I’ll be fitting up the lighter battery in a couple of weeks.
Aso, do Lipo type batteries benifit from a trickle charger ?
Never used one B4.

I have a Earth x lithium battery in mine. Way more cranking power, less drain when uncharged. I did use a tender even though they say it is not necessary.

The LIfo Battery has way more amperage then stock, and can easily handle some electric clothing. I use infra red heated clothing which is better for you then traditional.

Alternator is putting out 35amps x 14 volts = 490 watts.

Need to get the specs for the gear and total it up.

A BMW GS doesnt put out much more, 580 just like a concours 14.

Use led lights and free up a lot of amps/watts.... 8 watts versus 55 x 4 bulbs, lol 200 watts versus 32 that your alternator has to supply.
