2009 BMW K1300S

Did anyone read the story (Warp Speed Ahead) in the September Sport Rider. It looks as though the Germans have turned up the heat on the Suzuki Hayabusa and our personal favorite Kawasaki ZX-14. Now I really cannot wait to see how Heavy Industries changes the next 14 upgrade now that new competition has come to the play in the field. Ja, das gut

the k1300s is getting good write ups alright!
the power is the same (supposedly) as a stock zx14 but the brakes and the front end (paralever) is giving greater confidence therefore greater cornering speeds!
having ridden the k1200, id say the k1300 is a brilliant bike and wouldnt mind having one....when im older! lol

sooo many busas......sooo little time!

^^^ I might be persuaded that BMW could have developed a slightly better street/touring bike that has better handling for the occasional track day. Those are all just side jobs for the busa and 14. What the busa was made for is drag racing and that's where it bested the K1300, not surprisingly. They're all great all around bikes but they each have their strong points.
