Who's the quickest through the 1320 in the 14R nation? Must post 60', 330' and 660' to be a valid time.

Yeah I've seen smokins times on PB. How quick did you go SWB Smoking?

maverick1441 I just put it back to stock wheel base , went one time to the track and only got 3 runs . Track was crap and spun two of the runs .. The best was my first run 9.02 @ 158 , 60 foot 1.52 shifting at 9k .. It will go 8.80s soon , maybe 8.70s when we get some good air ..This will be done on pump gas and stock motor just like my 8.43 ..

I'm cutting consistent 1.51 60s but the bike just wont MPH on the big end. I'm scared something is wrong with it. Best I can do is 9.16@149. Mods are full Alien Head 2 system, strapped and lowered, and a Guhl's flash with no fuel map changes.

maverick1441 what do you weight and what was the DA on the run ?

I ran a 10.0 and they kicked me of the the track for not having on leathers so no second run, didn't want to go get them for a test and tune run, was jsut seeing what the track felt like.

I'm 160 in shorts and I can only give you temp and humidity estimates for that run. Around 75 degrees with 60% humidity. I'm in the deep south so I'm sure my elevation is low.

I can't figure out why my MPH is so low. I ran a few weekends with MR12 poured in with no tune so I'm hoping that I didnt hurt anything. Was planning on doing a cylinder leak down test next week to debunk or confirm my nightmares.

maverick1441 it should have more MPH at that weight .. My friend is around 160 pounds and only has a pipe and p/c , the other night he was running 9.17 @ 155 .. I felt like his MPH was low at 155 .. Maybe you are just lacking a good tune ?

Whats your 330 and 660 looking like short?

maverick1441 I tried MR12 one time and slowed down 5 MPH and 2 tenths .I just poured it in just like you did.. I will not use MR12 ever again .. Shell 89 pump gas works best for me..

maverick1441 I can't remember what the 330 was , but my 660 was 5.87 @ 125 if I remember right .. I'm not sure I kept the ticket but I'll look around and see if I can find it ..

I'm going 5.98 @ 122. Something is up with my bike. Now i'm super paranoid.

Here is my 9.02 pass .. keep in mine I shifted that run at 9k ( first run of the trailer , it was just a test pass to make sure everything worked so I wasn't pushing the bike hard )

I may PM you over at PB to try and figure out this dilemma. I am missing a ton of power and running like a first gen zx14.

Mav it sounds like ur safety map is still in honestly. That would dump ur mph just like you describe. It would also be causing you to post gen 1 times as you are. No worries. Ya just need that safety map flashed out IF that is indeed the case.

Cblast if he has the Guhl flash the safety mode is gone ..

Yeah I saw that too, I can't figure those times on his bike though. Don't know what it is. He is obviously familiar enough with the track to know what he is seeing too. If it ain't the basic set up stuff. It goes back to power. I don't know. What do you think it is smokin? Just tune?

See I'm just lookin at ur 9:02 pass, see them times! That's all faster slightly than expected due to that throttle hand of yours and how vigorous you launch and rip WOT. Yeah see, again, I go back to your pass, all in line if not faster. The stock length bike has a slower 60ft, as expected. Looks like ya got out of the hole decent, not perfect, but decent, then your throttle hand helps out and finishes you with a blistering 9:02. That shows top end, and power, and a very good rider with clutch control on launch.
Now I know he ain't you, but his set-up should be runnin 9:08-9:10's??? I don know. Tracks are all different too.
