Nice Mav. How close do you think you are to the maximum potential of the 14r with a stock wheelbase?

That 132 through the 1/8 is proof that the bike that made that pass is MUCH stronger than mine. Look at my MPH.. 123.86 through the 1/8 and 151.26 on the big end. Makes you say hmmmmm....
O and I just did the math... That's a 2.98 back half. I run around a 3.16 back half.

Is there anything as a pilot you can change to have a stronger back half or is it just a matter of horsepower? It seems to me (a person who knows nothing about drag racing) that all the hard work is done by the time you reach the 1/8 mile.

Your body position (tuck) is very important, but you are correct in assuming that your back half is a direct result of your horsepower. Child sized riders will obviously back half harder than an average weight rider, but generally speaking a better back half equals better power. This excludes abnormally high rolling resistance such as chain tension, chain condition, tire pressure, wheel bearing condition, etc.....
