Curious as to who owns one? how many miles on yours? How's the overall performance since owning it? I bought mine in Dec 2013 as leftover. Got a crazy deal on a brand new one. Think I have 5-6k miles and haven't done much to it but changed out the exhaust. Interesting that the body style has remained really unchanged since 2012. Pure beauty !

I have had the 2012 zx14r candy green one.. Loved that bike..wrecked... now have 2 2013 zx14r's.. no real changes from 2012 to 2015 zx14r's other than colors and addition of abs brake options, what questions do you have, i've pretty much done all the mods on the bikes, plus some customs stuff

2013 zx14r 21k in 2 years.. bought this one in 2014 from ricky gadson. has a lot more mods know.

Wow 24k miles..you've done some serious riding. True heard not much different since 2012 but color changes and the fact that all now have ABS. Mine doesn't have ABS but not an issue for me. You guys haven't had an mechanical issues I assume. I guess Kawasaki worked on those older 14 model issues with the engine/valve. That 2013 looks insane ! Looks ready to munch on BUSAs.

Sold mine with 50,300 miles on it. My 2016 has 11K on it. Love these bikes. Also had an 08 with 50+K on it.

yeah my question should have been what year model R you guys have? every year the 14Rs' seem to be getting better with the times. Haven't any mechanical issues with the the 14Rs'

Damn 50k, just with regular maintenance work? no mechanical issues right?

Still got my 2012 bought new in March that year. 25k miles with no major problems. In fact no minor ones either come to think of it. Only expenses, apart from routine (DIY) servicing, have been a new RH side panel broken by me due to a combination of very cold weather, ignorance and impatience and a new rad, partly my fault again for not fitting a guard sooner. Did the valve service last summer and most valves were tight. Slightly more valve noise now but seems to rev more freely and and pull slightly better up top. Or is it just me? Now about ready for new chain and sprockets, oh and more tyres of course!

^^^ encouraging news to say the least. Looking to ride the wheels off on this 2012.

Don't really have much to say, just seems like other than some Gen 1s have rotor warp issues I don't seem to recall any common problems with any 14 model years. I still LOL @ Kaws fit and finish but I do think they're mechanical and electrical engineering are very strong.

Checked my odo clock at it said 6670 so not so bad, still have tons of miles left...

Wills, I have 65k on my 06. So not all the first Gen had problems. Still runs great, no issues except for tire use.

pretty impressive...the most I've had on a bike was 26k..on a Honda. Looking forward to log the miles on this one without any headaches...well I know the maintenance, tires.etc are a must.
