HRP Triples

Has anyone seen or used HRP lightened or offset triple clamps? Looks really nice..
Should be a couple pounds off the top.

I looked into aftermarket top triple trees years ago and discovered that it was not a weightloss for the 14. They were made for increased strength. I doubt there will be anything safe that weighs much less than your swiss cheesed stock top triple tree. Personally, I don't think the HRP enhances appearance much either unless you are going for a utilitarian race look. Go with a gray primed race fairing and it starts to look right.

Unfortunately they only offer offset clamps. I like the simplified mount, lock delete, and looks of the price, but I don't think that offset would be high-speed or street friendly, and I'm sure it would make fitting an aero fender harder.. :/

I haven't personally tried them but I know a few that have got some and have never heard anything bad from them. I will say the Hughes family are a great group of people! Alex doesn't mess around. That dude knows his stuff!

What is "offset" about these clamps?

Thought I noticed an IOM bike with forks that angled inward as viewed from the front.

With the offset triple clamps the front wheel would be pulled in towards the radiator.

Thanks. Funny, I was just thinking that might be it a day or two ago.

This Looks like it could be just the thing for me but I would have to know how much they reduce the wheelbase. I don't think a couple cm would make much difference in handling. I believe I lengthened my wb about a cm when I changed my chain and that made no noticeable change. Also the weight. I see they replace both top and bottom clamps. If it's not lighter, I think I'd just stick with stock and remove the ignition, control pods and use shorter bars.

I wonder if HRP changes the angles of the bars from stock, too? and how much do HRP clamps cost?

Looking at your avatar, there is not much space to spare between the front tire and the lowers. Might be worthwhile in combination with the rear axle pulled all the way forward and some lifting links. For high speed, I think it's probably best left alone.
