Recently purchased a 2013 ZX14r ABS from the second owner. He had it for 2 years and did nothing to it other than brakes, oil changes, and a new battery. The bike came with Coffman exhaust that he says the original owner installed. Since the second owner didn't know, is there a way to tell if the bike has been ECU flashed? I don't see a Power Commander anywhere. Also, does the 2013 have catalytic converters? I am thinking of changing the exhaust and whether or not it has cats will sway my decision on the new exhaust.

If you can set Traction Control 0 and it stays set with key on/off, then your ECU has been flashed.
The cats are in the 2 huge mufflers.

Green is right on both. I'll add... I did own a 2013 and there were 3 cats, one in the header, one in each pipe. Made no flow difference with or without that one would notice seat of the pants.

Thank you, all. Traction set to zero goes to 1 when I toggle key. So no flash on it.

The bike came with a Coffman exhaust which I want to change so I may just just do slip ons if there are no cats.
