I have been searching and can't find the answer I am looking for. I have a 2016 se with the ecu part number 21175-1124 which shows as a California ecu under the parts listing. I am wanting to buy a second ecu to get flashed and keep my stock one in case I have to go to the dealer with problems.. I have been looking for months for a ecu with my part number with no luck but there are tons of the 21175-1123 49 state ecu, would one of those work in my bike or will I run into problems? Thanks in advance!

Look on bikebandit.com for the part number under your bike then cross check with earlier yrs for the same unit. If you have one or more O2 sensors you will need an ECU which expects the same signal inputs or your bike will probably toss an error code or two.

WRT the stealership and your flashed ECU, i doubt they even have the software and set up to tell. All they do is through new parts at a bike if it has problems. Try talking to Nels at Two Wheel Dyno Works he probably can answere you questions and can advise on an ECU flash

Run the 1123 ECU if you can't find your year. Both run an 02 so if you have it flashed, they might disable the light, but you are still in limp mode if say the flash is no better HP wise after flash is done.
