ZX14 problems
06/21/22 3:17 AM

My ZX14 2009 model was parked. This lady reversed into my bike causing it to fall over. There was only cosmetic damage that I could see. When I left work, I found my bike spluttering and losing a lot of power. On hard acceleration the power would come back. I have no idea what the problem could be. It is a fuel injector bike. Any advice / hints would be welcome as this lady is not keen on having my bike fixed.

Perhaps the throttle sensors got tweaked. They're on the RH side, one grey plug and one black plug on the throttle bodies. As for fixing that, you might get away with recalibrating the throttle sensor. It's possible with Dynojet equipment but I wouldn't recommend jumping into that since we don't know for sure that that is the problem. Take it to a shop. The lady's insurance should pay.
