I put HID's in my 2012 14r, and removed them and replaced both hi and low bulbs with PIAA ultra white bulbs. The HID were a very big disappointment in the ninja due to the round lens construction.

I have the HID in the 10r and C-14 and work fine...so have a set that was used for less than 30 days if you want them..will take $100.00 plus shipping about $10.00.

They are the 55 Watt, 5000K which are the very brightest whitest HID you can get.

Do you have a part number for the PIAA bulbs you put in your 14R??

Thanks

EDIT: I see they are just H9 and H11

One of the best mods I did to my bike was aim the beams up 1-2" and out 1-2".

I used these in 55W for my low beans.

They're made in China but I've been running them since 2013 and I'm satisfied.

Vickthing,

I don't know the spec distance for adjustment? Distance from wall. Help?

Thanks

If you're still looking, I installed the DDM Tuning HIDs with the 55W ballasts. Although I ordered bulbs for the respective low beam/high beam, they looked the same to me. Couldn't tell the difference. I'm very happy with them although I would probably be happier if I aimed the lowbeams a bit higher. I'm looking into that and some accessory lights as well. As for the high beams, they really light things up, but if you need them to come on ASAP - not gonna happen. They need a bit of time to warm up just like the lows. I usually turn them on then back off here and there. They turn on quicker after that when I actually need them.

I'm interested in adjusting my low beams as well. how did you measure 1-2" up 1-2" out?
