I just got rid of my 2005 yamaha warrior and my wife says the 2012 zx is way more comfortable then that was.

I asked my wire, she said "Ya it's comfortable"... Why don't you go down to a dealer and have her sit on the back?

2015 30th Anniversary Edition 14R #250-> Brock's CT Ceramic Coated, Ivan's ECU Flash V2 & Map, Block off plates, HM Strain gauge quickshifter, GPR Damper, Spiegler lines, Muzzy's Sliders, Pazzo levers, Rizoma Next Fluid Tanks, DDM Ultra 5500K HID's Low & Hi, DB Windscreen, Cox Radiator guard, gold titanium bolts... too many to list at this point

Thanks for the input. I am going to have her on the back on the display model in the dealer showroom, but wanted to get some real life experience as for actual riding comfort.

Thanks again. I'll keep you all updated.

My wife hates it and I can see why. It is flat, it is thin, it slopes forward, and her knees are too bent. IMO it is not a good 2-up bike, although the same can be said about just about any sport bike.

not sure if it also works on the 14r but i just put a concours14 seat on my 2010 zx14 and its a huge improvement for me and my wife! and its shaped in a good way to keep passenger from sliding forward.

My wife loves it, I had a cruiser before I got my 14, it had a mustang seat and she say the 14 is a better ride.

Although not on a '12 model, my wife likes the Corbin, but mainly because of the backrest. For a sport-tourer, she says it's the most comfortable we've had so far (compared to the VFR and ST4).

+1 for the Corbin with backrest. It's a must for a passenger on this bike
