The thing about a turbo is not just the power....its the way its delivered. When the boost starts to pull it feels like the beginning of a free-fall type of amusement park ride, and it just seems to keep on building right past the "oh sh%t" feeling. They really have a way of waking up the adrenaline glands....

Is Mr Turbo the only guys doing it or perhaps just the most experienced? I've been to their website more than a few times, drooling the whole time I'm there. I'd really be interested to know how "rolling on the throttle" out of a corner is experienced with a turbo vs stock.

It is just a lot more, coming out of a corner, which I prefer straight, it is mild until you make boost! Full throttle is were you are going to make boost. You have to load the motor to make boost. So just normally throttle response is real smooth and mild once the motor is loaded and the throttle gets wide open it is like warp speed. Just takes a little getting use to, but very rider friendly! More so than any Nos or big cc bike I have ever rode. And Mr Turbo really has a handle on the 14. Mine was the first one and he spent nearly two years getting it just right before selling it to the general public and has only improved on it ever since. It is a great kit. The stage one is all most anyone would want? The stage II is amazing and I am updating to the Stage III as I am typing this, Should be ready for this summer. Not that I will be able to use any more, but I am going to try and have a 7 second street bike? Low 8 second is pretty cool but there are few 7 second and even less with riders that don't way 175 or less? I can speak for Stage I and Stage II from riding them, I have watched the stage III and drooled also. As I did over the Stage I and Stage II! You would be very pleased and there is no power out there that is as cost effective for what you get in return! Now remember though I am hooked and feel I made HP the wrong way for the first thirty years? But this is my 4th year with the Mr Turbo kit on my 14 and every year I just want more. Not that it needs anymore?

8.48 1/4 @ 172, 64" wheelbase, 255 suited, Hand Clutch, Stage I Mr Turbo W/stage II engine upgrades,Stock injectors,2008 AMA Dragbike #10 Plate, 1998 Prostar Super Comp #10 plate, 200.474 Texas Mile 10-2009, I'm just and old fat guy still having fun!

Hey guys.

I am a new 14 owner (in the last 5 months) and I want to put a turbo on mine. I am looking at about 7-15 lbs of boost. Any suggestions on what brand of turbo to buy? And any advice/experience wisdom on the install?

Big Mike
