I got the Blaze system from Twisted Throttle.I'm pretty pleased with the set although I kind of wish the bags were a bit bigger. Anyway, here is a quick view of the install. It took only about 30 mins or so.

Viola!

As you can see, I live on the side of a cliff. Or, I'm STILL a dope when it comes to this frigging computer!

My neck is a little sore but that is a very nice setup for touringand sport riding. Easy on / easy off. Looks like it may even fit over the seat cowl with an OEM seat.

I dig it, and was seriously looking at that for a luggage setup. But, I don't care for luggage resting on the plastics.

jtemple, thats' why I am trying this set up. As long as the bag straps are across the seat, the bars hold the bags away from the plastic. They touch a bit and they give you some clear film to put on to prevent scuffing. But the majority of the weight is not on the bodywork. My other bags hung right off the plastic which is why they cracked. So, over all this is better. We'll see how much better this summer.

MadD

I just looked at Twisted Throttle for this setup and I dont see one listed for the '14. Do you have the part number or did you order one for a different bike and it fit?

Cruderudy, you want a p/n "BC.HTA.08.740.10900/B". On SW Motech's site it is listed for a 09-11 ZZR1400. All of our bikes have the same subframe so it works on all the years. I called Twisted Throttlea and the guy told me they didn't make one for the 06-07 ZX14. Obviously he doesn't realize the ZZR14 is the same bike. my bike is an 06 and it fits fine.

I'm not positive about the 2014 ZX subframe. Can anyone verify that it hasn't changed regarding the passenger peg mounts?

I have this set up for my 2013 ZX14R. Bought it used on eBay. I also couldn't find it listed for the newer model, but the ebayer had it on hours 2012 zx14-r. Fits fine Jay need to cover tail section with protective film whets the bag rubs.
