I like this ZX14 forum ..... but one thing I noticed in political discussions and other threads around the forum, is how some of you are quick to make comments disparaging blacks and Hispanics.

You geniuses fail to recognize that lots of ZX14 forum members, (fellow motorcyclists), belong to the same ethnic group you denigrate. Not surprisingly, Trump/FauxNews/Sean Hannity/Rush Limbaugh/Breitbart/InfoWars constantly make similarly disparaging comments ..... but I digress.

Denigrating your fellow forum members becomes counterproductive to arrange or plan ZX14 forum meets and greets.

Keep calm and carry on.

Ever heard of Ancestry? The program where people trace their family tree and history?

Here is a freebie lesson ..... one of my relatives, for years has been researching and keeping a database of our family using ANCESTRY.COM to bring our story to life. According to the family tree from my father's side, some of my ancestors from Venice, Italy, landed in America in 1679. Others arrived in 1837 and 1909.

What I find ironic is that according to my ancestor's history, my family has been here in the United States long before Trump's. Donald Trump's grandfather (Friedrich Drumpf)emigrated to the United States in 1885. Yet, here you are calling me a Mexican simply because I am a dark skin man with a Spanish sounding last name.

You showed your true colors by calling Marc Marquez a Mexican, it clearly shows you are bigot.

I know you just can't help yourself and will continue with your bigoted remarks, it's ok. Maya Angelou was right when she said: "When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time".

Don't let your bigotry and ignorance stop you from spouting your intolerance.

Kofla, you're just a guy in my book. I noticed you are dark skinned and I have the impression you have a connection to Latino culture. I always thought you were black but it really makes no dif to me what your race or background is. I was under the impression your family migrated to the US fairly recently. I don't have a clue what nationality your name sounds like. That is truly original!

I'm not against the rich variety of colors and cultures we have in our country by any means. I am concerned we have been headed in a bad direction for decades by not having much better control over immigration into our country though.

Yeah, there is a real significant number of hispanic and black sportbike enthusiasts. I hope the atmosphere can remain a little bit relaxed. I enjoy white jokes and I'm not about to jump all over somebody if they make a joke about any race once in a while.

but it's true that at some point it becomes hateful. The intent isn't always easy to read on internet posts. If it's a political discussion, the jibes about color are probably not going to come across sounding very lighthearted. Just a little reminder we all gotta love our fellow Americans of every color.

I'm pretty sure I'm colorblind.And I 'v had some bad experiences with almost all ethnicities(not all)in the past.If I wanted to blanket stereotype a particular race...I have lots to go on.But I don't blame any race....people choose what they do...regardless of race.

Gotta say...today's 'race issues' are disturbing.I didn't really hear anything about this kind of thinking until our President took office.Then it seemed that's all one can hear.Among other derogatory stuff aimed at him.I just don't get it.He's not doing it.But it sure seems like 'everyone else' is goin to town with it.Ugly IMO.Uncalled for.There is and will always be racism.Part of the human condition.But to purposely instigate stuff that is non-existent?Nah.I call BS on those striving to perpetuate a mindset of...'us against them'.(I don't mean here,anyone here.The public...sickening.

'EVERYONE' against Mr Trump gets pissed and exaggerates his words.Twists em to fit their scenarios.Truth is...saying 'shithole countries' is pretty much what MOST people would say.They just wouldn't want to be classed as...bigots or something.And Trump speaks from the heart.And gets condemned for it...while his accusers do exactly the same thing...to their friends,families,children...you name it.They're not guiltless by any means.These people hide behind a facade that 'I'm good.I've got class'.When they know they feel VERY different about others.They don't like someone speaking it straight and takin the heat for it.I mean...just take Hillary for an example.Saying she was shot at by snipers on the tarmac.HOW does a person think when they make such a HUGE lie...and STICK to it.I mean...that's amazing...what kind of thinking is going on there.Imagine her 'running this country'.Scary.Tell ya that.
