Just went out yesterday on a 300mile trip on my recently (nearly) finished zzr14 turbo.
Having done 182 miles on one tank of fuel...Amazed!....but I was riding really steadily!
I was heading for a particular fuel station when the FI light and error message came up on the dash. It momentarily stopped and then restarted, Hmm I thought wondering what that was, maybe map sensor......maybe vehicle down sensor...but it carried on for a couple of miles and cmae on again about 400 metres from the garage.....on a motorway. this time it stopped for about 30seconds and the was able to restart. I got to the fuel pumps and filled her up. And yes it wouldnt restart. I checked the codes and the 23 came up ,cam sensor. so had to get recovered home 80 miles or so. What a pain.
This morning I checked through the system and it has about 1.5mega ohm resistance, the bike is an 07 11000 miles.
Anyone else had any sensor failures over the last couple of years?
