Haha Mad Devil...back when I had my 2006 ZX14, was doing our annual Laguna Seca trip and we had an FNG along with his highly hopped up GSXR1000 and when I dusted him on all the twisty roads he asked me, "Why do you ride a bike like that if you like to go that fast?". I told him more or less exactly what you said above. These big girls can hustle down the road pretty damn well AND comfortably!

2013 ZX14R ABS, Red, Scorpion Serket Carbon slip ons, centerstand, Rizoma Mirrors, MRA DoubleBubble, Gen-Mar risers, Buell pegs, ThrottleMeister, GIVI V35, Corbin saddle, backrest and glovebox, Power Bronze Hugger, Radiator Guard...so far...

Rook, might as well go all the way then and get the "H2R" why settle
for just the H2.

My sentiments, exactly but I have to come back to reality when I look at the cost of owning and running an H2R. The H2 is as close as I might get while staying somewhat within the bounds of reality.

A few more years and you'll be able to pick one up for a cool price.2015's aren't reselling too badly.Somewhere around 17-19K.

None of those are me ... FYI

This is as far over as I ever get:

Not confident / competent enough to go farther.

That really doesn't look bad at all IMO. It looks you're ~45°. I'm sure I don't lean mine any more than that. I could see leaning your upper body off the side more but as for the bike, I think you're pushing it about as far as you should for a bike you don't want to crash.

I'm sure most of us do. I have bigger C-strips than that. I was just looking at them! LOL I blame it on the 200/55 tire! I think I might have them down close to 1/4 inch in back at one time but that was so long ago, you can't see it! The few rides I took the 14 on last summer were not the most edgy.

The only time I have no KFC chicken licken strips is after track days. I can't even imagine riding aggressive and leaned in that much on the street. For me to need to lean in that much on the street I would be way over the mph limit and besides I'm way to worried about the shit leakin out of the gardners truck to lean that much on the street ever. I hear my friends talking about "praying" there is no dirt or crap on the corners on the twistie in the mountains above Malibu - NFW. I'm sportin at least one thick finger chicken strips and proud of them.

But that's just the way I ride. If you want to gumball it up to the edge go for it. It's your toy!
