I guess I have been lucky in life. I have owned over 60 motorcycles in my 77 years and have enjoyed every one. Currently I have 4 + a 125 Yamaha Vino scooter. You guys will laugh at me but I bought a 2019 Honda GW and that's what I use for the wife & I when she wants to ride. Not a rocket ship but not a snail either. One bike I haven't owned is a Concours 14 which is a fine bike. I have owned 3 FJR's though which are a great bike and I would recommend.

My dad has a goldwing trike, love riding it when he lets me, just a different ride!

Oh man a Gold Wing trike is about as opposite a ZX14 as ya can get!

As a kid my grandparents would let me ride my grandmother's adult sized tricycle around their trailer park. I would get it up on 2 wheels and just ride everywhere like that. As a kid I almost never saw the need to put that 3rd wheel down! What a rebel!

Sorry to hear about the problem but glad it eventually worked out for you. I have the same 2016 ZX-14R SE and haven't had any problems with it, other than it seems to speed way too much... Without having to worry a trade-in price, it opens up a nice opportunity to thoroughly review what you might be interested in and then take your time so you won't be disappointed down the road.

FWIW - I have a heavily farkled C-14 Concours that is really great for sport touring 2 up, especially with a custom map. I have a Seth Laam custom seat which eliminated the problem with my gonads and the seat is far better for my pillion as well.

Just found out Triumph is releasing the info for the newest version of 2021 Speed Triple on January 26. Initial reports are that the engine will be bumped up from 1050cc to 1160cc and from 145HP to 178HP with a 40 pound weight reduction (about 376 pounds dry). Since it looks like it comes in black (the fastest color), I see one joining the herd when available. Damn! Gonna need to build another shed though...

Current Rides: 2020 Triumph Rocket 3 GT; 2020 Triumph Speed Triple S; 2018 BMW K1600 Grand America; 2016 Kawasaki ZX-14R SE, 2015 Kawasaki C-14 Concours, 2014 Triumph Rocket 3 Roadster, 2014 Rocket 3 Touring, 2012 Harley-Davidson Fat Bob, 2011 Rocket 3 Roadster, 2009 Rocket 3 Standard, 1984 Honda V-65 Sabre

Oh no it's fun, but I am a long ways from that.

Yeah I loved the 16 and I am strongly considering just getting the 2021 model. I did read that triumph is going to bump their speed triple up, which is good because I used dust plenty of them when I had my v4 tuono. I do have a soft spot for naked bikes, it's gonna be rough with a passenger though.
